    King Koil
Mattresses
Are you looking into the
viability of King Koil mattresses? Purchasing a mattress
is a big deal, you spend 1/3 of your life sleeping so you want
to make sure you get a mattress that is both comfortable and
durable, especially since they are so expensive.
When looking into King Koil
mattresses myself, I discovered that they’re no newcomer,
they’ve been around since 1898 which is more than many other
mattress companies. They have definitely made a name for
themselves and they have the only innerspring mattress
collection to be endorsed by The Foundation for Chiropractic
Education and Research.
Now sure, memory foam and
latex mattresses may be more popular than innerspring, however
innerspring is one of the best selling types of
mattresses. They have various different models of this
including: Comfort Sensations, Perfect Contour, Perfect Contour
Elite, Perfect Solutions, Perfect Contour Extraordinaire,
Luxury Escapes and Spine Support.
Out of the above, the Spine
Support and Perfect Contour are specifically designed to
provide more support for the back in crucial areas. The
Spine Support has 3 groups of coils that are placed throughout
the areas which receive the most pressure to offer extra
support. The Perfect Contour King Koil mattresses do the
same but instead have 5 groups of coils.
But really any of those above
mentioned models will give you good support and provide you
with a comfortable sleeping surface. The best thing you
could do is go into the store and test each of them out by
laying on them since everyone has different tastes and
preferences when it comes to how a bed should feel. Some
people prefer a firm bed, others prefer a bed with more
support, while others prefer a bed they can sink
into.
One complaint you will often
find though with King Koil mattresses is that after several
years you may have “sinkholes” develop, which are areas of the
bed where a depression has formed. Some have said that
despite having a warranty, it is voided if the mattress ends up
having any kind of spot or stain on it. I don’t know how
accurate these claims are, it seems rather silly to void a
warranty over something small like that, I mean a spot doesn’t
have anything to do with a bed’s structural integrity.
Anyways, this goes to show you that regardless of who you buy
from, you should always read the fine print, especially when it
comes to warranties.
All mattresses will eventually
break down given enough time, but one way you can avoid
encountering sink holes prematurely is by rotating the mattress
every now and then. You want to do it frequently so that
there isn’t enough time for those sink holes to develop in any
one spot.
I have been buying solely King
Koil mattresses for as long as I can remember and thus far I
have been very pleased with the beds durability and especially
comfort and support. Just make sure you do your due
diligence when you’re out shopping!
